FILM SHOW Scone Seniors Club will meet in the RDM Institute, Abbey Road, on Wednesday at 2.30pm.

Members of Perth Film-makers Club will show a selection of short films of local interest. All are welcome.

CHURCH BAZAAR Orwell and Portmoak Parish Church Christmas Bazaar is being held on Saturday, from 10am to noon, in Milnathort Town Hall.

Stalls include cards and calendars, gifts, decoration­s and novelties, cake, candy and produce and bottle stall.

Tea and coffee with mince pies and shortbread will also be available.

INNER LINK CLUB The Inner Link Club of Perth’s latest meeting in the Queen’s Hotel was attended by 52 ladies.

President Kaye Sinclair introduced the speaker, Grant MacLaughla­n, a community developmen­t worker with Tulloch Net which is a group helping people to overcome loneliness and isolation.

The next meeting will be held at the Lovat Hotel on Wednesday November 30, when Vicky Turnbull from the RSPB will give a talk on garden birds.

FESTIVE FAIR St Serf’s Church, Almondbank, is holding its Christmas fair on Saturday November 26 from 10am to noon.

Raising funds for the church, there will be the usual stalls including craft, cake and candy, tombola and bric-a-brac as well as various raffles.

Tea or coffee will be available in the hall.

Donations for all the stalls will be gratefully received and these can be handed in to the church hall on Friday November 25, between 2 and 4pm, or 7 and 8pm.

DRAMA GROUP Members of Unmasqued Drama Co (Youth) will present a production they have written themselves, titled A Night of India, in Perth Grammar School theatre on November 24 and 25.

Starting at 7.30pm, the performanc­e will help to raise funds for people taking part in the Perth Academy World Challenge expedition to India.
