Teenager bailed ahead of trial for alleged sex attacks in Angus

A teenager has been released on bail ahead of his trial over two alleged rapes.

Aaron Herschell appeared from the cells at Forfar Sheriff Court ahead of a High Court trial next year, in which prosecutors will allege he committed two sex attacks. It is understood these relate to an incident in Angus. Herschell, from Livingston, appeared under his given name and was freed after a short private appearance before Sheriff Gregor Murray on petition.
