Police beating the drum for stolen instrument’s safe return
Police are appealing for the return of a drum that was stolen from a football fan following a game at McDiarmid Park.
Officers have confirmed the musical instrument was taken from an Inverness Caledonian Thistle supporter shortly after their match against Saints on Saturday, December 3.
A police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland is looking to have the drum returned to its rightful owner.”
An Inverness Caledonian Thistle spokesperson said the club could not comment on the incident.
Meanwhile, a Stagecoach bus that was parked in Gowans Terrace, Perth, had a window smashed by stones on Monday, December 5 at 6.30pm.
The following morning, a black Seat Leon, also parked in Gowans Terrace, had its rear window smashed.
Elsewhere, a green mountain bike was stolen from Iona Court, Perth, between December 4 and 5.
Police are looking to speak to a young male skateboarder who damaged an advertising sign in the Skinnergate, Perth, around 6.30pm on December 2.
Other recent crimes in Perth and Kinross include property being stolen from a building site beside Necessity Brae, Perth, between November 30 and December 1.
Perth Police are also making efforts to track down vandals who sprayed graffiti on a wall at South Muirton Cottages, Perth, between December 2 and 3.
In addition, thieves broke into a blue shipping container from within the Perth and Kinross Council Wellshill depot between December 2 and 3.
