Presenter toasts new season

The salmon fishing season has been declared open with a traditional ceremony on the banks of the River Dee.

A piper led anglers and locals down to the river at the Banchory Lodge Hotel in Aberdeenshire, where television presenter Alexander Armstrong made a toast to bless the water for the new season.
