Edinburgh project under way

Chris Stewart Group has started a major Edinburgh city centre development with a £21 million funding package from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The Mint Building at the corner of St Andrew Square will consist of Grade A office accommodation over eight floors with retail and restaurant space on the ground level.

The adjacent Edinburgh Grand is being developed into luxury serviced apartments with bar, restaurant and gym.

The two buildings will be known as The Registers and will be part of the £850m St James Quarter regeneration project.
