COUPAR ANGUS Martin Allan will speak about Dundee poorhouses to a meeting of Coupar Angus and District Heritage Association at 7.30pm on Friday in the bowling club. PERTH Perth Philatelic Society members enjoyed displays by society stalwarts Grant Mitchell, Mike McEwan and vicepresident Alan Fortune in the clubrooms of the West End Bowling Club, Gray Street. The next meeting is tomorrow at 7.30pm at the bowling club with a visit from Aberdeen Philatelic Society. CRAIGCLOWAN Craigclowan Prep School on Edinburgh Road, Perth, is hosting an independent senior schools fair between 7 and 9pm tomorrow, with 24 schools from all over the UK represented. INCHYRA Blues guitarist and singer/ songwriter Martin Harley returns to Inchyra Arts Club on Tuesday accompanied by Daniel Kimbro on upright bass. The show starts at 8pm. CANCER SUPPORT The Perth committee of Macmillan Cancer Support is holding its annual meeting at 6pm on March 16 at the Royal George Hotel. AUCHTERARDER: Auchterarder Parish Church is hosting a visit from students and staff from the University of North Georgia. They will be singing in a concert at 7.30pm on Saturday March 11 and participating in morning worship on Sunday March 12. LUNCARTY: A coffee morning will be held in Luncarty Church Centre, Marshall Way, on Saturday, 10 to 11.30am. As well as refreshments there will be hand-crafted cards for sale. GUILDTOWN: Blooming Guildtown is holding a coffee morning in the village hall on Saturday, between 10am and noon, for group funds. There is also a raffle and a sales table to which all donations are welcome. PERTH Matt Monro Jr pays tribute to his legendary father in a show at Perth Concert Hall tonight at 7.30.
