High security quality product
Claymore Windows is a local family run double glazing company based at Claverhouse Industrial Park, Dundee.
Established in January 2005 Claymore Windows was the first firm in Scotland to gain membership of the Double Glazing and Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme (DGCOS) joining a select group of installers in the UK.
The DGCOS was launched to protect consumers against cowboy operators.
By manufacturing in a custom-built factory and collaborating with Selecta Systems Ltd, which has designed the Advance 70mm profile, the team at Claymore Windows can produce an attractive and high security quality product at a reasonable price.
The Advance 70mm, five chamber profile provides strength and durability, while its high flow drainage eradicates problems generated by adverse weather conditions.
All windows and doors are internally beaded, fully reinforced and have a co-extruded gasket which avoids the unsightly problem of shrinking rubber seals. There are a range of colours to choose from, including white, rosewood, rosewood/white, golden oak and golden oak/white, all of which come with 28mm glass units and airflow slot vents as standard.
As a member of the PLANITHERM Installer network Claymore Windows uses high performance low-emissivity glass, which incorporates the latest advances in thermally insulating glass coating technology.
Benefits include haze and tint free windows, elimination of condensation, free solar heat gain, thermal insulation and optimal energy ratings.
Claymore Windows is also a member of the Trusted Traders network. Reviews can be read online at www.referenceline. com/60156.
