President Audrey Michie welcomed members of Methven Institute to the meeting and introduced Angus Whitson, who writes the One Man And His Dog column in The Courier, and who related several stories about his experience­s in the Scottish countrysid­e. RATTRAY. President Margaret Watson welcomed members, guests and visitors and introduced Tracy Dick from Create@nest, Blairgowri­e, and Gloria Mitchell from Cortachy. Tracy demonstrat­ed how to crochet a thistle that could be used as part of a display or made into a brooch, while Gloria gave a demonstrat­ion on how to make fascinator­s and silk corsages.
