Early bird tickets still available for Fake Festival in Perth

-

Music fans wishing to attend this year’s Fake Festival in Perth still have a chance to snap up early bird tickets.

Organisers of the event, which will see tribute acts to the Killers, David Bowie and the Arctic Monkeys headline, state briefs are selling fast for the show, which is returning to the South Inch next month.

The early bird tickets for the Perth leg of the Fake Festivals touring tribute music festival end at midnight on April 20.

Yesterday, Jez Lee, owner of Fake Festivals, advised people considering going to the event to buy the tickets at their discounted price.

“Many festivals have become so expensive that it prevents people from enjoying live music, which really is a sad situation,” he said.

“Live music is so important and it really brings people together, and with the world leading acts on the tour, we want as many people to be able to enjoy a truly fun day out that they remember.”

He continued: “We strongly believe in the need to keep our tour affordable, entertaining and with a community feel. That is why we ensure our ticket prices remain low, so that people of all ages can come and enjoy the Fake Festivals experience without breaking the bank.”

This year’s Perth Fake Festival takes place at South Inch on Saturday May 20, with five local support bands performing along with a series of tribute acts. Last year’s event was a sell-out with around 2,000 people attending.

Early bird tickets are £18.50 for adults, £11 for those aged 10 to 17 and £46 for a family. Admission is free for children up to 10. For more information visit www.fakefestivals.co.uk
