Saints tipped for another strong finish

- ERIC NICOLSON

After suffering one post-split collapse, St Johnstone have become masters of finishing strongly in the Premiership according to their former captain Dave Mackay.

The year that Saints lost all five of their top six clashes has proved to be an aberration, which even then didn’t cost them a place in Europe.

And Mackay is backing his old club to put together another run-in that will fit the mould of more recent campaigns.

St Johnstone have announced season ticket details for the 2017-18 season.

The club’s policy of free admission for children aged 12 and under will be continued and an adult’s season ticket in the SSE Ormond Family Stand has been reduced to £250 (average of £13.15 per match over 19 home league games), with an additional adult within that family group costing £125 (£6.58 per match).

All the benefits and incentives from this season’s package have been retained, with the addition of a special ‘Saints Card’ which will be officially launched by the club next week.

Current season ticket holders will receive their renewal packs upon entering through the turnstiles at the next home match (versus Partick Thistle on Saturday May 13) but are welcome to renew their season ticket before then.

You can purchase your season ticket in person at the ticket office (open weekdays 9.30am-5pm), by email (ticketsales@perthsaints.co.uk) or by phone (01738 455000). An editable application form can also be downloaded from the website.
