Motorcyclist badly hurt in A912 crash
A motorcyclist was treated for serious injuries following an accident in Perthshire yesterday.
The A912 was closed by Police Scotland as emergency services worked at the scene, between Bridge of Earn and Glenfarg.
The motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a car near to the Baiglie Inn at around 4pm.
Police Scotland said the rider had sustained “serious but not lifethreatening” injuries in the crash.
The occupants of the second vehicle, though shaken, were said to have escaped injury.
Motorists were urged to take care when approaching the area and advised to seek alternative routes if possible.
Meanwhile, a man has died following a road crash in Aberdeenshire.
The 30-year-old was driving a red Seat Ibiza which left the A93 Ballater to Braemar road after being involved in a collision at around 1am yesterday.
The road was closed for nine hours to allow an investigation to be carried out.
Police Scotland asked any witnesses who saw the collision to come forward.
