Warning after potentially dangerous drugs are lost

Police officers in Perth are appealing for the return of potentially dangerous controlled medication mistakenly left on a bench on the High Street.

The drugs, in addition to 24 paracetamol, were left in a navy blue drawstring bag bearing an NHS logo outside WH Smith on Saturday. The bag went missing some time between 11.45 and 11.50am. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “This medication could be dangerous if consumed by any person to whom it is not prescribed.”

Anyone finding the bag and its contents is asked to hand it in to the nearest police station.
