Wiesberger keeps cool in play-off

Bernd Wiesberger was crowned the Shenzhen Internatio­nal champion after beating Tommy Fleetwood in a dramatic playoff at Genzon Golf Club.

The Englishman, eight shots behind at the start of his final round, carded an excellent 63.

The Austrian held his nerve to birdie the first play-off hole and secure a fourth European Tour victory in his 200th event.

Top Scots on 10 under were Scott Jamieson, after a 67, and Richie Ramsay, who finished with a 69.

Stephen Gallacher was two shots further back after a 70.

Duncan Stewart finished on five under after a 71, while a level-par last round of 72 left David Drysdale one under.

Frenchman Gregory Bourdy and England’s Ross Fisher finished one shot behind the co-leaders on 15 under, one ahead of Fabrizio Zanotti, David Lipsky and Dylan Frittelli.
