Hands up for healing

-

Massage is a wonderful way to restore and maintain health. When people are massaged, the production of natural painkillers increases, the immune system is boosted and blood pressure and respiratory rates lower, improving the function of heart and lungs.

The soothing effect of touch sedates the body and calms the nervous system, making people feel calmer and less anxious, which usually aids sleep.

The Scottish Massage School offers a full progression of courses from gentle Swedish massage, remedial and sports massage, reflexology and aromatherapy all the way through to manipulative therapy.

Professional training runs for one weekend a month for eight months and enables students to set up in business afterwards.

Massage offers a flexible career within the complementary therapies field, whether on your own, or as part of a team in a clinic/spa, with sports teams, in hospitals/hospices with cancer patients, and many more areas of life.

The Perth School of Massage starts its new season of courses on September 16-17 2017 with its Diploma in Swedish Massage and Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage.

Classes will take place at the Scout Hall in the grounds of Perth Academy. To find out more call Scottish Massage Schools on 07917 757871 or email info@scottishmassage.co.uk
