Win for Albert but hopes are effectively over
Lochgelly Albert were 4-0 winners at home to Stoneyburn, but their hopes of promotion are effectively over.
Martin Rennie, an Andy Watt double and one from Craig Bateson earned them a comfortable victory.
In their first match back at Recreation Park this year, Rosyth had a 6-2 derby win over Crossgates. John McDiarmid and an own goal gave them a two-goal interval lead.
Stan Chittemere and two Evan Stanfield strikes made it five. Tam Hampson hit the sixth after Cameron Mcaleavey and a James McNeish penalty counted for the visitors.
Oakley’s final match of the season was a 1-1 draw at Livingston, Lee Celentano’s goal earning them a point.
They are sitting eighth, but can be overtaken by Rosyth who are three behind with games left to play.
