Clarification

We have been asked to clarify that Kieran Bruce, whose disappearance sparked a major air and sea search around Perth, had latterly stayed at a flat in Tay Street.

The 23-year-old, who was born in Perth but grew up in the north-east of England, moved out of his previous address at St Catherine’s Square, Perth, about three years ago.

His family are facing an anxious wait for confirmation after a man’s body was recovered from the River Tay, at Walnut Grove on Friday evening.
