Man accused of causing A9 crash which injured four people
A man is to stand trial accused of causing a crash on one of Scotland’s most dangerous roads.
Paul Dale is alleged to have driven dangerously on the A9 on October 9 last year.
The 64-year-old denies veering across the carriageway at Faskally and into the path of an oncoming vehicle, causing a crash which damaged both vehicles and left Dale and three others injured.
The crash happened at the height of the Enchanted Forest event, causing organisers to issue a warning to visitors to expect delays while the road was closed in both directions.
Dale, of Moray, will stand trial in August.
