Leng Medal winners revealed

Awards were handed out last night for one of Dundee’s oldest and most revered singing competitions.

The Sir John Leng Trust, or The Leng Medal as it is known by many Dundonians, saw 23 girls and six boys sing 23 different solo Scots songs unaccompanied at the Music Centre in Bell Street, Dundee.

High School of Dundee’s Ruaridh Cowieson and Brooke Coventry from St John’s grabbed the honours.
