Broadcaster’s CEO steps aside

The chief executive of broadcaster STV is leaving his post.

The media group said Rob Woodward would stand down within the next 12 months.

STV’s nomination committee will search for a replacement.

The move came a day after the group launched STV2.

Mr Woodward – who has spent a decade in the role – said “fresh challenges” lay ahead.
