SCONE: The next meeting of the Scone and District 50+ Group will take place on Wednesday May 17 at 2pm in the Robert Douglas Memorial Hall on Abbey Road.

Marilyn Netheringt­on from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Associatio­n will be giving a talk about her work.

INCHYRA: Touring to promote their debut album Paper Heat, rock band Hunter and the Bear will visit Inchyra Arts Club, Carse of Gowrie, for the second time on Sunday May 14. Doors open at 7pm for 8pm start.

CRIEFF: Crieff Choral Group’s annual coffee morning will be held this Saturday from 10am in St Andrews Halls, Strathearn Terrace, Crieff. There will be a variety of stalls including books, bric-a-brac, plants, home baking and bottle stall.

FOLK CLUB: The three piece band Rallion – Fiona Cuthill, Marieke McBean and Steve Lawrence – will appear at the Glenfarg Folk Club at Backstage at the Green Hotel, Kinross, on Monday May 15 at 8pm.

FLOWER CLUB: Perth Flower Club’s last meeting before the summer break is on May 15 in the Grampian Hotel at 7.30pm. The demonstrat­or is Anne Buchan from Clathybeg. New members and visitors welcome.

SENIOR CLUB: Burrelton and Woodside Senior Club members are visiting Jamesfield Garden Centre, Abernethy, on Thursday, leaving Burrelton at 11.15am.

This is followed up by a longer trip to St Andrews on Thursday May 18, leaving Burrelton Green at 9am and then picking up at the Red House Hotel at 9.15am.
