Daunting opponents

East Kilbride boss Martin Lachlan reckons that facing Cowden today is much more daunting than being drawn against them in the Scottish Cup.

The Lowland League champions sent the Blue Brazil tumbling out of the knockout competition back in October – but the K-Park boss reckons his men are facing a different side this time out.

Lachlan said: “They are absolutely a different proposition to the one we defeated in the cup. Gary Locke and Billy Brown have turned them around.

“It will be tight but I don’t think anything will be decided today.”
