Antimony – said to cause heart of lung damage if inhaled.
Arsenic – toxic to both humans and wildlife and could cause cancer.
Boron – can irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat. It can also damage male fertility.
Cadmium – could cause cancer. It is linked to birth defects and reproductive damage.
Chromium – can damage liver, lungs, kidneys and stomach.
Manganese – high levels could cause headaches, behavioural changes or hallucinations.
Selenium – high levels could lead to dizziness, fatigue and digestive irritation.
Vanadium – can irritate lungs or cause sore throats, chest pain, wheezing and asthma.
