Perth and Kinross: news in brief

MUSIC. Martin Stephenson and the Daintees will perform at the Inchyra Arts club this Wednesday at 7pm.

The group combines folk rock with elements of rockabilly, show tunes, indie pop and even punk.

Tickets priced £20 plus fees are available from Groucho’s in Dundee, Bandwagon in Perth, the St Madoes store, or online at www.inchyraartsclub.co.uk. FLOWERS. Pitlochry Flower Club will meet this Wednesday at Scotland’s Hotel, Pitlochry, from 2pm.

This month’s demonstration will be given by Annette Stoker, and her title is Tis the Merry Month.

This meeting will also be annual general meeting and the committee hope that as many members as possible will attend.

Visitors are welcome to come to the demonstration for a small fee of £5.

This will be the last meeting before the summer break. The club will restart in September.
