Residents welcome moves to tackle dog fouling menace
Councillor Willie Wilson has taken action on the problem of dog fouling in the Craigie area of Perth after meeting with residents.
“We all agreed that dog fouling was totally unacceptable and extra effort has to be made to try and eradicate this grossly anti-social behaviour,” he said.
Additional warning signs have already been put up, in particular on the pathway behind Wilson Street, and collection bags will be available in shops in Darnhall and Craigie.
Moves have also been made to increase dog warden patrols in the area.
