It is about time the pay cap on the public sector workers was abolished. It limits pay rises for staff in schools and hospitals to 1% per year until 2020. The Liberal Democrats would to ease the pressure on nurses and teachers, who would be £780 better off by 2021 – as part of Liberal Democrat plans.
