Armed robbers made off with a small amount of jewellery from a Fife business yesterday. Two men wearing balaclava masks entered a property in Dunfermline, occupied by Alexander Mair, at around 10.20am. The jewel thieves presented weapons at Mr Mair and threatened him. He was slightly injured but did not need medical attention. His Labrador was with him during the incident but was too elderly to act as a deterrent. Mr Mair returned to work shortly after his ordeal.
