SCONE: Tayside Kidney Patients’ Association will hold a prize bingo evening at the RDM Institute in Scone on Friday from 7.30pm. Admission is £1 and all are welcome. BRIDGE OF EARN: Earn Community Council holds its annual general meeting in The Institute, Bridge of Earn, on Monday from 7pm.
The AGM will be followed by the monthly meeting, to which all members of the public are invited.

HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: The Auchterarder Horticultural Society is holding a plant sale and coffee morning in the Aytoun Hall, Auchterarder, on Saturday from 10am to 11.30am. Entrance is £2.50. There will be a variety of bedding plants and home baking. All funds raised will help with the costs of the 151st annual horticultural society show. QUIZ: A general knowledge quiz is to be held in the Barossa Street Saints Club, Perth, on June 24, 7pm for 7.30pm start. Entry is £10 for teams of four. Email gavstewart@hotmail.co.uk to enter. NHS RETIREMENT FELLOWSHIP: The NHS Retirement Fellowship will meet on Monday in the Civil Service Club, 11 St Leonard’s Bank, Perth.
A committee meeting at 1pm will be followed by the general meeting at 2pm. The speaker will be Margaret Ritchie, who will show the history of nursing through her interest in philately. New members welcome. ABERNETHY: Abernethy Fete Weekend will start with a disco for children in the Williamson Hall from 6.30pm on Friday June 2. The fete is on Saturday June 3 between 1pm and 4pm.
The hill race will be held on Sunday June 4. Registration is at 12.30pm in the square.
