AMULREE. Anna Gregory showed members how to make a floral buttonhole at the annual meeting. Competition: floral buttonhole – 1 L McMannon, 2 S Fotheringham; competition cup – H Gamble.
AUCHTERARDER. President Diane Holme opened the annual meeting. Competitions: hand-made glove puppet – 1 J Clarke, 2 S Perera; suggestion for syllabus and competitions – 1 M McGraw, 2 N Homewood; flower of the month – S Perera; points trophy – M McGraw.
BRIDGE OF EARN. President Wilma Scott welcomed members to the annual meeting. Prizes: competition points cup – 1 N Blair, 2 M Folan. President Wilma Scott and the committee were re-elected. A quiz compiled by Norma and Sandra was won by team WICA – Wilma, Iris, Caroline and Anne. Competitions: open sandwich –l L Davidson, 2 N Blair, 3 M Folan; flower of the month –l M Folan, 2 L Davidson, 3 W Scott.
BURRELTON & WOODSIDE. President Irene Smith welcomed everyone to the annual meeting. Prizes: silver salver – 1 S Urie, 2 K Pirie, 3 M Gordon. Competitions: fresh fruit salad – 1 I Smith, 2 C Pickthall, 3 S Urie; article made from plastic bags – 1 E Wallace, 2 M Gordon, 3 C Pickthall; flower of the month – A Robertson. BUTTERSTONE. The annual meeting was held. Officebearers elected: president – S Bruges; vice-president – J Gordon; secretary – M Hale; treasurer – M Abbott. Prize: points trophy – 1 M Hale, 2 S Bruges, 3 F Bruges.

CARSE GROUP. Anne Smith, president of Inchture SWI, presided over the Carse Group spring meeting and Isabella Black table quiz competition. Janet Rougvie introduced the quizmasters, Bill and Heather Meikle. Isabella Black Trophy – 1 Glencarse, 50, 2 Collace and Kinrossie, 46. Competitions: knitted wrist warmers – 1 M Palmer, Collace and Kinrossie, 2 M Martin, Collace and Kinrossie; jar of orange and rhubarb jam – J Rougvie, Collace and Kinrossie.
CLEISH. President Helen Buchanan welcomed everyone to the annual meeting. Points prize trophy – 1 S Webster, 2 A Morris. 3 E Craig. Flower of the month prize trophy – 1 E Craig, 2 H McDougall, 3 E Glennie.
CLUNIE. Sarah Tyson spoke on her travels in Madagascar. Competitions: bloom of the month – 1 M Webster, 2 M Morrison, 3 J Wightman; points cup – M Webster.
COLLACE & KINROSSIE. President Janet Rougvie opened the annual meeting. New committee: president – J Rougvie; vicepresident – S Howarth; secretary – M Palmer; treasurer – J Reid; magazine secretary – M Langelaan; press and competitions secretary – L Murrie. Prizes: institute salver for most points in monthly competitions – 1 C Strathie; 2 J Rougvie.
COMRIE. President Joyce Carnegie welcomed members to Auchingarrich for the annual meeting and supper. Prizes: Margaret Laing Cup for baking – 1 M Philp, 2 J Carnegie, 3 W Henry; Elizabeth Carmichael Cup for handcrafts – 1 M Gregory, 2 M Philp, 3 W Henry; Helen Glen Cup for most points overall – 1 M Gregory, M Philp, 3 W Henry. DRIMIEBURN & MEIKLEOUR. Terri Patterson was congratulated on her 90th birthday. Jean Gibb has retired as secretary and press secretary. Kay Smith has offered to be secretary and Debbie Willett has offered to be press secretary. Competitions: greetings card – 1 C Fleming, 2 E Marshall, 3 E Christie; flower of month – B Wright.
DUNNING. Celia Marshall welcomed members and tellers Noreen Holmwood and Doreen Holme from Auchterarder. New committee members – R Cameron, E Piggott and I Pye. Retiring members N Ross, C Marshall and P Stewart were thanked for their service.
