Great ingenuity and skill were on show in exhibits in the industrial section at Alyth Show held at Bogle’s Field, Blairgowrie.
The Tasker Cup for most points overall in the show was won by Marjorie Twivey, Alyth, for the second successive year.
She also won the Muir Shield for most points in the floral art section.
The Isla Cup for most points in baking and produce was won by Madge McCowan, who also won the Meg’s Mini Market Shield for most points in baking, and the Balloch Shield for most points in produce.
Other trophy winners were: Hobbies Shield for most points in handicrafts – Kathleen Coupar. Tullymurdoch Shield for most points in photography – Iain Galbraith.
