East End or West End, whatever side of Dundee you’re celebrating on, Redwood Leisure’s Woodlands and Invercarse hotels have the festive party season covered. Party nights are on each weekend in December, and with festive accommodation rates of just £55 per room, it’s a great idea to make a night of it. These rates are only available when you book direct with the hotel.

Invercarse party nights: The Directors will keep you on your toes on December 8, 9, 15 and 16, and tickets are £45 per person; while on December 2, 22 and 23, a disco will help to create a party atmosphere. Tickets are £30 per person.

Woodlands party nights: Donny Hughes will keep you entertained at all the December party nights and tickets are £40 per person.

On Christmas Day, relax and enjoy lunch with family and friends while someone more experienced does the cooking and washing up. Both hotels will welcome you for lunch in the restaurant or, for families with young children, the ballroom. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and discounted prices for children are available.

Hogmanay is covered, too, with a Hogmanay Ball. There will be a piper’s welcome at the Invercarse, with prosecco and canapes on arrival followed by a four-course menu with coffee, before you dance into the New Year with The Directors. The Woodlands are offering three courses with the Donny Hughes Roadshow Disco and countdown with a piper at midnight.
