Coffee shop hopes to roast rivals in public vote for top outlet

A local coffee shop has been named the best contemporary tea shop at the Clipper Tea Shop Awards 2017.

Heaven Scent in Milnathort is one of six category winners, all of which will now vie for the title of overall victor in a public vote which closes on October 9.

Owner Andrew Scott said: “We’re delighted to win in our category, and to be the only Scottish company to be shortlisted for the grand winner title. We now need all our customers to vote for us so we can be crowned the overall champions. This would be an incredible achievement given that the awards are open to tea shops from across the UK“
