Born to traditional Punjabi parents and growing up in Wolverhampton, Sathnam Sanghera moves to London after graduating from Cambridge University and builds a career as a journalist. He tries to gather the courage to introduce his English girlfriend Laura to his mother and father and reveal he will not be entering an arranged marriage – but instead learns a painful family secret. Drama based on the memoirs of Sathnam Sanghera, starring Sacha Dhawan, Deepti Naval, Anupam Kher, Joanna Vanderham, Vineeta Rishi, Jaz Deol, Anjli Mohindra, Himmut Singh Dhatt and Shaheen Khan.
