Last-gasp winner gives Thornton bragging rights

Thornton Hibs scored a last-gasp goal to give them a 2-1 Premier League victory at Glenrothes.

Nathan Feeley gave Hibs the lead after four minutes. Jamie Leslie levelled nine minutes from the interval.

Garry Thomson had the last word with his 90th-minute winner.

St Andrews hada3-0 win over Downfield in the Premier League at Barnetts Park. Daryl Falconer, Scott Lawrie and Ross Cunningham scored.

In the South League, in the aftermath of Lochgelly Albert slumping to a 4-0 defeat at West Calder, manager Craig Ness and his coaches Stewart McManus and David Sheach resigned.

Greg Robertson gave Recs an interval advantage before Hendry cancelled that out. Scott Gilfillan’s double seemed to have secured the win for the home side but Hendry again came to the rescue.

In the North League Scone Thistle brought Lochore Welfare’s fivematch winning streak to an end with a fine 4-1 win at Central Park.

They had to come from behind after James Adam’s ninth-minute opener, with goals from Andrew McKenzie and Arran McKay putting them ahead at the break. Ross Mitchell and Ben Moffat scored their second-half goals.

Forfar Albion had a 3-1 triumph at Newburgh.
