Sir David continues to make a splash
The latest episode of Blue Planet II has been the most successful of the series so far, as the audience grew to nearly 11 million viewers.
Sir David Attenborough’s wildlife series returned to screens on Sunday night for the third instalment and it attracted an average audience of 10.9 million viewers.
The hour-long BBC1 broadcast about coral reefs peaked at 11.3 million viewers and had a 44.6% audience share.
This comes after the first episode of the series was found to be the most-watched programme of 2017 with 14.01 million viewers when also accounting for those who recorded the programme.
