-

Live Active Leisure (LAL), Perth and Kinross’s armslength trust, is looking for two volunteer directors to join its board.

The organisation says it is looking for two innovative, entrepreneurial individuals with a proven track record at senior management level in either property or finance.

A LAL spokesperson said: “The candidates will be passionate about physical activity and able to dedicate three to four hours each month to assist in driving Live Active Leisure’s business forward.”

Jim Moyes, LAL’s chief executive officer, said: “We are fortunate at LAL to have attracted an outstanding board of high calibre directors from across private, public and third sector. They assist us in exercising influence in a range of settings.

“Our director responsible for property has a key role in supporting the successful overall operation of properties and related works. As important is the finance director portfolio, which contributes to ensuring financial sustainability and improved performance.”

He added: “The sports and fitness industry continues to grow and we need to ensure that we are leading the way in our area.”

Informal meetings and interviews will be conducted in early 2018.
