LETHAM
The Letham Climate Challenge’s annual meeting will be held on Thursday March 1 in the Letham Social Club, Marlee Road, Letham, Perth, at 7pm.
Refreshments will be served.
NEEDLECRAFT
Perth Needlecraft Circle’s next meeting is tomorrow from 2-4pm at Vision PK, New Row, Perth.
Linda McIntyre will help the group complete fabric bowls.
SCONE
The Scone Seniors Club will meet in the RDM Institute in the village at 2.15pm tomorrow, when the entertainment will be provided by the Perth Strathspey and Reel Society.
BANKFOOT:
The Bankfoot Wednesday Club’s opening meeting is on February 24 when John Marshall will give a humorous and fast-moving photographic show of his life in “tatties” and his experiences from Auchtermuchty to Zanadu.
There will also be a singalong to celebrate Rabbie Burns.
On February 7 it will be a Scottish afternoon with the Kilgraston Scottish Fiddle Group, accordionist Peter Stewart, songs from Roy Henderson and the annual entertainment from the local schoolchildren.
ART WORKSHOPS: Perth Arts Workshop begins its winter session on January 29.
Classes are held in the Community Hall, Glenlyon Road, Perth, either 10am to noon or 1-3pm.
Classes are especially suited to anyone who is looking for a relaxed daytime painting environment.
Individuals work on their own projects using their own materials and are free to choose any medium.
Tutor Douglas Matthews provides expert guidance and advice.
Classes run in 10 week blocks.
