Dayzee can’t wait to meet you

-

Alittle rescued pony with a big personality is the latest addition to Redwings Horse Sanctuary’s Adoption Scheme and you can meet her this Easter!

Miniature Shetland Dayzee, who lives at the charity’s Mountains Visitor Centre, near Forfar, is to be launched as its latest “Adoption Star” during the Easter weekend.

Supporters will be able to sponsor Dayzee for just £15 per year, with every penny going towards her care and that of her rescued friends.

Visitors are also invited to celebrate Dayzee’s new found stardom during a special party on Easter Monday, April 2, from 11.30am, where they will have the chance to enjoy a cuddle with her during a special meet and greet. And best of all, entry to the visitor centre is completely free!

Dayzee, who arrived at the sanctuary in 2010 when she was just three months old, was sadly born with a condition that meant her hips could easily dislocate.

But under the watchful eye of the Redwings Mountains team, Dayzee enjoys a wonderful life as a happy and playful pony who visitors can’t help but fall in love with.

When adopting Dayzee, supporters will receive a certificate and a friendship card, plus an invitation to her birthday party, photographs and updates, and access to her online diary full of stories from her life at Redwings.

Redwings Mountains, in Milton of Ogil, Glenogil (DD8 3SQ) is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm.

To adopt Dayzee, you can do so at the centre, or by calling 01508 481000 or online at www.redwings.org.uk/adopt
