Breweries get ready for beer fest

-

Perth based-Inveralmond Brewery has announced its backing for one of the Fair City’s most popular get-togethers.

The Perth Beer Festival will get under way at midday on Saturday.

The North Inch event, sponsored by Tan International, promises a range of craft ales and beers. Organisers have lined up a comedy night on Friday and a Big Bash Finale from 7pm on Saturday.

Fergus Clark, founder and chief executive of the Inveralmond Brewery, said a collaboration with Perth Beer Festival made “perfect sense”.

He said: “Inveralmond Brewery is Perth born and bred so it makes perfect sense to lend our support once more to this excellent community event. We look forward to raising our glasses again to another successful Perth Beer Festival.”

Allan Brown, chief executive of Perthshire Rugby, organisers of Perth Beer Festival, added: “We’re thrilled to once again have Inveralmond supporting Perth Beer Festival. The weather forecast is good, tickets are selling at record levels and it’s set to be another cracking weekend jam-packed full of activities for everyone, including families.”

The team at Inveralmond Brewery, which became part of the Innis & Gunn family in 2016, will have their full range pouring, including beers made with chillis and lemongrass.

The event will also feature beers from Loch Lomond Brewery and Broughton Ales.
