Judges praise high standard of entries at Blairgowrie SWRI show
There was a bumper crop of entries at the Blairgowrie SWRI Group’s annual Swan Trophy event in the town hall.
Organisers said the quality of entries was of a very high standard.
Results:
Swan Trophy – 1 Rattray and District; 2 Burrelton Woodside; 3 Drimmieburn Meikleour. Best entries: Embroidered – Kate Imlay, Rattray and District (gold work embroidery). Knitted (Jean Drummond Quaich) – Betty Wallace, Burrelton Woodside (gloves). Sewn – Kathleen McCormack, Rattray and District (child’s dress). Own choice – Sarah Urie, Burrelton Woodside (necklace beadwork).
