BLAIRGOWRI­E

The Blairgowri­e Community Market, celebratin­g a wide variety of local produce and crafts, will take place in the town’s Wellmeadow tomorrow from 10am to 3pm.

The monthly event boasts a range of bread products, pies, gluten-free cakes, free range eggs and award winning preserves, as well as seasonal fruit, vegetables and a wide range of plants.

SUPPORT

The Perth Breast Cancer Support Group will hold its next meeting on Monday from 11am to 1pm at Letham St Marks Church, Rannoch Road.

There will be a talk on radiothera­py.

ERROL

A plant and bake sale will be held in Errol village hall tomorrow from 10am to 1pm. All funds will go to Errol Parish Church.

RECITAL

Perth bell-ringer, carillonne­ur Dr Ian Cassells will help the city to celebrate its Festival of the Arts, with a recital at St John’s Kirk this afternoon.

It will start at around 1.45pm, following a concert by Perth Grammar School.

The kirk will be open to the public during the recital, so that people can hear the music as well as seeing Ian on large screens inside the church.

MARKET

The first Fair City Market of the year will be held in Perth tomorrow. The event takes place primarily in King Edward Street from 9am til 4.30pm.
