Police appeal following theft of 200 litres of red diesel
Police have issued an appeal for information following the theft of 200 lites of red diesel from a quarry.
Thieves broke into a secure site at Foss Mine, Tummel Bridge, between May 11 and 13 and stole the fuel.
A police spokesperson said the stolen red diesel was valued at around £120.
Meanwhile, a bronze and black specialised cross trail bike was stolen from outside KFC, St Catherine’s Retail Park, Perth, between 9.30am and 4.30pm on May 20.
Officers are trying to trace thieves who stole camera equipment from a house in Orwell Road, Auchterarder, between May 20 and 23.
And thieves stole a bike frame from a storage shed at Noah’s Activity Centre, Old Gallows Road, Perth, on May 26.
Elsewhere, a quantity of spent batteries were stolen from Fairways GM Ltd, Kinross Business Park, between May 18 and 23.
Overnight May 23 and
24, a blue Mini Cooper was vandalised while parked in Mill Street, Kinross.
Thieves stole a quantity of alcohol from an insecure garage at a property in Burghmuir Road, Perth, around 4.50pm on May 28.
A generator located in a Ford Transit was stolen while the vehicle was parked in Bowton Road, Kinross, on May 24.
An outer panel of a ground floor window was smashed at a property in Tay Street, Perth, around 9.30pm on May 25.
Overnight on May 26 and 27, a black car was vandalised while parked in Collinson View, Perth.
