The Courier & Advertiser (Perth and Perthshire Edition) - - COMMENT -

The various ways in which Scottish educational activities have been interfered with by war conditions were dwelt upon in a report just issued as a Government paper. Complaint was made that in certain rural districts there has been less effort to secure regular attendance and more readiness to curtail school life than the circumstances of the time would warrant. The hope is expressed that during the remainder of the war no effort may be spared to save the children from educational loss.
