Tree usurped

The Courier & Advertiser (Perth and Perthshire Edition) - - COMMENT -

A Monikie reader writes: “Referring to your submission headed Artfully Disguised in a recent column, some readers may recall the tall Scots artificial pine tree which was situated to the east of the Keir Roundabout, where the A9 becomes the M9.

“It provided the structure to hold mobile telephone aerials. It appears to me that the plastic tree has probably become dwarfed by the real trees growing around it and an ugly steel tower has been put in its place.

“Maybe your readers can supply more information.”
