Brain injury survivor thanks people of Perth for donations

-

A man who suffered a traumatic brain injury after falling four floors onto a concrete floor while in Dubai has completed a fundraising drive to help others with a learning disability.

Andrew Blair, a support worker for ENABLE Scotland, has been working with other volunteers at the charity and supermarket chain Tesco to raise money.

The most recent collection, carried out at the Edinburgh Road branch, raised £900.

Mr Blair said he was grateful to everyone who donated.

“I set up this fundraising drive as I wanted to give something back to ENABLE for the vital work undertaken in the support of our clients in the Perth area and across Scotland,” he said.

“I would like to take this small opportunity to pass on my sincerest thanks to the management team at Edinburgh Road Tesco, our volunteers, and to my mum and sister who supported me throughout my extensive recovery.”
