Grant of £15,000 allowing paths around Aberfeldy to be upgraded
The paths around Aberfeldy will be upgraded thanks to a grant of almost £15,000.
SSE’s Griffin and Calliachar Community Fund provided the cash to improve sections at Dull-Camserney, Carse Farm and the old railway line path between Grandtully and Aberfeldy.
Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust (PKCT) will work with the Upper Tay Paths Group to deliver the improvements, with work due for completion early in the new year.
Andrew Barrie, PKCT strategic routes officer, said: “This grant is a great opportunity to improve paths that are affected by flooding. We’re delighted to receive the funding and look forward to working to keep the paths in good order for the future.”
