Agricar appointed

Agricar has been appointed dealer for specialist potato machinery manufacturer Standen Engineering.

The Forfar-based firm, which also has depots at Laurencekirk, Blairgowrie, Perth, Dundonald and Stirling, has been appointed Standen dealer for Angus, Perthshire, Ayrshire and Kincardineshire.

The company’s potato-machinery manager, John Craig, said: “We are very pleased to become the latest dealer for Standen.

“The products are excellent and we are looking forward to bringing more of the machinery to the area.”

Standen sales manager for Scotland, Billy Beatson, said: “Agricar are a prominent dealer in the region and they were an obvious choice as Standen dealers.”
