BURRELTON Burrelton and Woodside Senior Club’s Christmas lunch and party will be held at the Red House Hotel, Coupar Angus, on Thursday December 20.
The event starts at noon, sitting down for lunch at 12.30pm.

Perth Burns Club’s annual dinner will takes place on Saturday January 26 at the Salutation Hotel.
The principal speakers this year will be Donald Paton, Willie Wilson and Joan McEwen.

The annual show of colourful waxwings is under way in Kinross.
Rangers at Loch Leven have reported increasing numbers of the birds coming to eat berries.
Waxwings travel in big groups, competing with redwings for the last rowan berries before the harsh winter weather arrives.
NORTH MUIRTON A celebration bringing different nationalities together will be held in Perth on Monday.
Riverside Church in North Muirton is hosting the international Christmas party from 4pm until 9pm.
Each family attending is asked to contribute £10 and to bring a dish big enough to feed 10 people.
COMRIE
Free energy efficiency advice will be available in the White Church, Comrie, on Friday.
Experts from Home Energy Scotland will be answering questions between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
Drinks will be served by Comrie SWI.
