My Hometown, a stablemate of joint favourite Josies Orders, led rounding the home turn.

Fact Of The Matter soon challenged and the pair fought tooth and nail up the hill, with Snowden’s charge winning by a neck.

Josies Orders, after some indifferent leaps, powered home to beat Amazing Comedy to third.
