Police searching for two vans stolen in early morning thefts

Two vans were stolen from the Perth area within 24 hours.

Police are appealing for information about the two Ford Transits, which were taken in the early hours of Friday morning.

A white van advertising a roofing firm, registration ST12 BNK, was taken from Perth Road in Scone, while a sky blue tipper van, registration YP61 DHY, was stolen from Dunkeld Road.

A police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland is investigating the theft of two Ford Transit vans in separate overnight incidents.

“If you have seen either of these vans or have information that could help, please call or speak with any police officer.”
