Mapping the city

Dundee Civic Trust opens its new year with a talk – Dundee, Mapping the City – on Thursday, January 17, by Chris Fleet, the map curator at the National Library of Scotland.

This illustrated talk will look at the history of Dundee based on the rich map collections of the National Library of Scotland, examining who made them and why.

Chris Fleet has worked with map collections at the National Library of Scotland since 1994, particularly on making historical maps available online at http://maps.nls.uk

The talk will start at 7pm in Dundee Art Society, 17 Roseangle.
